TECHART aerodynamics and design for 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman
The TECHART aerokit for the new Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster models, boosts the dynamic appearance of these mid-engined sportscars. The front apron gets optically extended by the two-piece TECHART front spoiler with its integrated splitter. A central air outlet helps to reduce the aerodynamic lift. As well as the front splitter, the air outlet is available in black PU-RIM or carbon fiber.
For the GTS models as well as for all 718 featuring Porsche’s SportDesign Package, TECHART offers a special multi-part front spoiler for even sportier looks.
Unmistakably inspired by motorsports: the GT-style fixed rear wing II for the 718 Cayman. Its prominent wing profile rests on anodized aluminium uprights. A smaller version, the Rear Spoiler I, is available for 718 Boxster and Cayman as an alternative.
The range of TECHART carbon fiber parts offers additional opportunities to add motorsport highlights to the 718 models: besides the front splitter, TECHART carbon is available for the airblades, the side mirrors, the side air intakes, the diffuser, trims and for the rear wing profile. Last but not least, TECHART offers a lot of carbon options for the 718’s interior, too.
TECHART Powerkits enable a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds with up to 415 hp.
More sport in sport mode is available for the 718 S and 718 GTS models with TECHART’s easy to install powerkits. With the TECHTRONIC power upgrades, the power-boosted models do not only accelerate faster than the standard versions. Even compared to the new 6-cylinder models 718 Cayman GT4 and 718 Spyder, the TECHART-powered 4-cylinders shrink the gap between standstill and 100 km/h.
In the 718 Cayman S and 718 Boxster S, the 2.5 l flat-four engine with TECHART TECHTRONIC provides 480 Nm of torque to the rear wheels (series: 420 Nm), accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 s. Fueled by a total power output of 400 hp, it provides a top track speed of 296 km/h (series: 350 hp / 285 km/h).
For the 718 GTS models, TECHART’s powerkit enhances the standard 269 kW (365 hp) to 306 kW (415 hp) and increases the maximum torque by another 60 Newtonmeters.
