Open, sporty, unadapted - the vehicle concept of the new BMW Z4 is consistently geared to agility and driving dynamics. With the performance upgrades from AC Schnitzer, BMW Z4 drivers can, however, improve even further in terms of sportiness. Anyone who thinks that the 340 hp of the M40i can no longer be more dynamic will be taught a lesson with the AC Schnitzer performance upgrade and a full 400 hp. The BMW tuning specialist from Aachen will soon also be "sharpening" the BMW Z4 20i and 30i models with performance upgrades and anyone who wants can also choose the optional optics for all models. A up to 5-year warranty is of course included when the BMW Z4 rolls out of the workshop in Aachen.
All other tuning elements have also been developed in a consistently sporty way. AC Schnitzer sports rear silencers with "Sport Carbon" or "Sport black" tailpipes for the Z4 M40i with 2 tailpipes each in right/left combination (4 pieces) are available for the exhaust. The Z4 20i and 30i can be equipped with tailtrims right/left combination (2 pieces).
Those who value agility and driving dynamics will also place the highest demands on the chassis. AC Schnitzer fulfils these requirements with the Z4 M40i with a height-adjustable RS coilover suspension. The sporty tuning and the high residual spring travel enable driving comfort that makes the Z4 absolutely suitable for everyday use. Power adjustment in tension and compression as well as a lowering of front and rear by 25 mm each compared to the standard suspension make the racing feeling perfect. With the AC Schnitzer spring kit, tuning fans can also lower the Z4 20i and 30i by 25 - 35 mm (front) and 20 - 30 mm (rear) respectively. The Z4 M40i scores with a lowering of 15 - 25 mm (front) and 15 - 25 mm (rear) compared to the standard vehicle.
Improved downforce values are the goal in the development of the AC Schnitzer aerodynamic elements for the Z4. The AC Schnitzer front splitter, which is easy to install and can be used without further painting, brings this downforce to the front axle. At the same time, the 2-piece rear spoiler increases downforce at the rear axle. The AC Schnitzer Bonnet Vents are only permitted in Germany for actual racing purposes; however, they significantly improve the air situation of the engine. AC Schnitzer side skirts, on the other hand, also provide the intake effect and sporty appearance in road traffic. The aerodynamics are rounded off by the AC Schnitzer emblems.
The ground contact of the Z4 by AC Schnitzer is produced by wheel sets with a progressive design. AC3 Lightweight Forged Wheels silver/anthracite or anthracite/silver and AC1 light alloy rims BiColor or anthracite bring racing onto the asphalt by using the right tyres. Here 9.0 x 20" with 255/30 R 20 tyres at the front and 10.0J x 20" with 275/30 R20 tyres at the rear are available for the AC3 rims and 8.5J x 20" with 255/30 R 20 tyres at the front and 10.0J x 20" with 275/30 R20 tyres at the rear.
Last but not least, the interior range from AC Schnitzer will also be of interest to the sporty BMW Z4 driver. AC Schnitzer aluminium shift paddle set, aluminium pedals, aluminium footrest and aluminium keyholder meet the highest design demands of driver and front passenger.
Agility, driving dynamics and design - in all areas AC Schnitzer demonstrates with the BMW Z4 that beyond the series, very special moments of driving pleasure are possible.
